Happy 1st Day of Spring!

This time of year, I always think back to the many visits my family and I made to the Tidal Basin to check out the Cherry Blossoms Festivals and see the blooms. Four years ago, my mom and I went downtown to check out the trees. After driving around for what seemed like an eternity, we found parking. Mom and I waltzed around the sidewalk, took a bunch of photos, visited the Dr. Martin Luther King’s Monument, and enjoyed the rays of sunshine coming down. We even bumped into our cousins who were there doing the exact same thing; checking out the Cherry Blossoms. We had a blast! That past trip in 2017 was the last time I was able to see the Cherry Blossoms in person. With the Cherry Blossoms Festival being online this year, I’m stoked to be able to participate again.
