Portrait: Michi, Dan, & Kids - Private Home
Many congrats to Michi & Dan on the birth of their lovely daughter and to Frankie on his “big brother” status! I had the pleasure of photographing Dan’s proposal to Michi a few years ago at Mid Ocean Beach Club. It’s always a pleasure to capture different life events in my clients’ lives!

From the moment I spoke to Kayleigh on the phone, I knew we would work well together. Kayleigh first reached out while we were in Scotland photographing a wedding. She explained that she and her honey - Brian - were getting married in Bermuda and wanted to book an Engagement Session. When I met them in person, I knew not only were we going to have a great photoshoot but I also knew we were going to be great friends! We laughed throughout the entire session - from one section of St. George’s to the next!

Wedding: Dee & Drew - Lowndes Grove - Charleston, SC
If you live anywhere near the east coast of the USA, then you know Charleston, South Carolina is a hot spot for destination weddings. If you’re familiar with Charleston, then you know Lowndes Grove - is a mecca for destination weddings. We had the pleasure of flying to Charleston from Bermuda to capture the union of Dee & Drew at this amazing venue. Positioned along the Ashley River, Lowndes Grove offers a picture-perfect location for weddings. With a rustic “Lowcountry Vibe” - their wedding day had all the Southern Charm Charleston has to offer.
What you might not know about Charleston is that it’s also a popular musical tour stop for the jam-band, Phish. Big Phish Phans, Dee and Drew planned their wedding day as closely as they could around the band’s Fall Tour Schedule. With this in mind, Dee and Drew opted to tie the knot over Veteran’s Day Weekend so their guests could travel during the three-day holiday weekend. A few short weeks after the wedding, Dee and Drew would be able to kick off their honeymoon in Charleston at Phish’s opening night. Perfect!
With something borrowed, something blue, and a sixpence in the bride’s shoe - literally - the couple said “We Do” at sunset.

Proposal: Marc and Amanda - Horseshoe Bay Beach
When Marc first reached out to me about his proposal at Horseshoe Bay Beach, I knew it was going to be a great shoot! Amanda and Marc had travelled to Bermuda with a group of friends and were planning to sneak away for a few hours to take some couples photos on the beach. Before she knew it, Marc was on one knee asking for her hand in marriage.
“YES” was the next word that fell from Amanda’s lips - which was quickly followed by - “Where did you have this ring hidden?” and “Does my mom know?!” After the big question, we spent the rest of our session basking in the sunset light (my favourite) and Marc told us about his experience buying the ring. Let’s just say - Marc was so excited about buying the ring that he forgot his car keys at the jewellery store. Whoops! Fear not - Marc was able to retrieve his keys, make it home, and kept the ring a secret for a few more months until they arrived in Bermuda.
A special congratulations to Amanda & Marc! Thanks for being such amazing clients!
