Rum is a big part of Bermuda’s history and it’s no surprise that Bacardi Limited (although founded in Cuba) has it’s headquarters in Hamilton. Every year on Founder’s Day - February 4 - Bacardi celebrates a number of it’s employees for their unique skills. I had the pleasure of photographing two employees who selected for their outstanding commitment to the company.
I had the pleasure of photographing country singer, songwriter, performer, and all around talented musician, Jay Bragg. If you’re looking for some awesome tunes, be sure to check out his website and download the latest album on iTunes! You can catch him live in Nashville most nights at AJ’s Good Time Bar where he - like the rest of the crew - will be “Keepin’ it Country”. In a few short days, Jay will be hitting the road with his band - and his trusty guitar named Thelma Lou - and opening up for Alan Jackson!
A special thanks to the Hereford Family in Gurley, Alabama for letting us take these images at their farm!
I love working with other artists and photographers! When we got a phone call from Paul Havel asking to come aboard my husband Jim’s boat, Troubadour, with his girlfriend, Jackie Greaney - we were super excited! Both Paul and Jackie are content photographers and influencers based out of the great state of Maine - my old stompling ground. How could we refuse?
…and during the charter, we made lifelong friends! We can’t wait for Jackie & Paul to come back to Bermuda or better yet - to see them again in Maine!
